Please join us as we prune and remove blackberry and thistle away from the young trees and plants that will become a future healthy forest in this disturbed site. This is a really neat project site that is just beginning to transform and all are welcome and encouraged to join the effort.

What to Bring

Long sleeves and pants are highly recommended to protect against blackberry thorns. Also plan for the weather including good sun protection (hat and sunscreen are recommended along with water and snacks. Gloves and tools will be provided.

Where to Park

Either in the Magnuson swim beach lot at the base of Kite Hill or in the playground/soccer field lot east of the tennis center. The walk from either is about a half mile to the work site which is adjacent to the off leash dog park (mid point gate and shelter). Please text or call me when you arrive for directions if you are unsure where to go.
