Come learn about land stewardship and forest restoration with us at the Heron's Nest! We will be removing species of concern in preparation for native fall plantings and pollinator habitat. Activities include ivy removal, blackberry shrub removal and root ball excavation, on-site composting, and more!

What to Bring

Close-toed work shoes/boots, gloves if you have them, though some are available, eye protection if you have it and want it.

Where to Park

On site. Optional parking at Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural center available if you take the trail up to the Heron's Nest (Trail is medium to hard difficulty).
