Cheasty GS: Cheasty Blvd - GSP Workshop: Weed Management …06/30/2022

Activities

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the number of weeds at your restoration site? Join Jacob de Guzman from Seattle Parks and Skye Pelliccia from King County Noxious Weeds as they share tips and tricks for how to manage common weeds at Green Seattle Partnership sites. You can expect to hone in on your identification skills and build some appreciation for these plants, all while growing your understanding of management strategies and removal techniques. We will end the workshop with a fun scavenger hunt using the new tools you've gained. Stay for a meal together or opt for to-go food (vegetarian options available).

Adults only

18 out of 25 participants registered.

What to Bring

Please wear comfortable clothing and boots you wouldn't mind getting dirt on. Feel free to bring water, tea and any snacks you need to support you in your participation. Vietnamese sandwiches (Bánh mì) will be provided for dinner (vegetarian options available).
