O'Dea High School continues its 100-year celebration by contributing to the restoration of the forests in Seattle, this one at the very south end of Genesee Park. We will be pulling weeds and transforming the forest to make it more healthy and diverse. No experience is necessary, tools and training will be provided.

All ages OK

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, and wear long sleeves and pants to protect yourself from blackberry thorns. Your clothes will get muddy. Please bring a filled water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Where to Meet

Meet at the south end of Genesee Park at the edge of the forest, just up the hill from the synthetic turf playing fields on the SOUTH side of S Genesee Street, near the intersection of 43rd and Genesee. Look for signs for a Green Seattle Event.
