Plant a forest and grow community! Help us create a healthier, happier, and greener Seattle by coming out to end Seattle Forest Week on Green Seattle Day! Lets improve wildlife habitat, combat climate change, and providing a place for community members to recreate.

Green Seattle Day is one of the best ways to give back to your neighbors, parks, and your local forest.

Join the fun and be one of hundreds of volunteers across the city planting native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers that will become the future forest of Seattle.

All community members are welcome, and no experience is necessary! The event is family friendly and open to all ages.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we will be enjoying wetland exploration games, planting, food from the Community Kitchen, a cider press and a nature craft!

This is a drop in event and no registration is required. Come for as long as you can - we would love to see you as we embrace the joy (of planting) cooler, rainier weather brings us as we steward the land.

Anywhere at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands, located at 5513 S Cloverdale St Seattle, WA 98118.

Where to Park

Parking on site is not recommended, please park on S Cloverdale St or at the Atlantic City Boat ramp and walk into the Rainier Beach urban Farm and Wetlands. The Light Rail and several bus lines are a short walk to the farm.
