Carkeek Park - Kids to the Park …05/20/2023

Activities

Come celebrate National Kids to Park Day by joining other kids and their families in a fun morning of forest restoration. May 20th is also the One Seattle Day of Service which is a great way for Seattle residents in every neighborhood to come together to roll up our sleeves, celebrate service and our City, and give back to our community.
We'll be improving Carkeek Park's apple orchard by removing invasive plants such as ivy and blackberry. Afterwards, we'll come together with a snack to celebrate our accomplishment and our beautiful city park.
This event is being hosted in partnership with the National Park Trust and Green Seattle Partnership.
Youth volunteers under 18 must bring the Youth Waiver form, and younger participants under 16 should have an adult in attendance.
