This October we’re getting Batty for Bats as we learn about the role of bats in our environment and in Westcrest Park. We’ll also be clearing the way for planting new native plants during the Green Seattle Day volunteer event in November. Come learn and work with us as we celebrate Fall and Halloween season!

What to Bring

Please bring with you what you will need to be comfortable whilst spending a few hours working outside. Dress in clothed layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, or any other accessories to protect yourself from the elements.
Remember that blackberry thorns are sharp and can snag clothing, and that the terrain may be uneven and/or wet.
We will be providing gloves and tools for all to use!
