Activities

Join us for a special "International Day of Biological Diversity" celebratory restoration event at our very varied and especially special backyard- Westcrest Park!

Westcrest Park is home to many flora and fauna, and our volunteer undertakings help the park continue being a healthy home for all of us to enjoy.

We will be caring for forested areas by removing blackberry and other target species that overwhelm local, native plants.

All ages OK

16 out of 30 participants registered.

What to Bring

Please wear and bring with you what you will need to be comfortable spending a few hours working outside. Sturdy shoes recommended.

Dress in layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers.

Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, or any other accessories to protect yourself from the elements.

Feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them, otherwise we will provide the gloves, tools and light snacks.
