It's planting season in the pacific NW! On Sunday, December 8th we will be planting berry bushes to provide food for animals, and trees for all of the positive things that trees do for us and the environment. We will also continue clean-up efforts following the fallout from the late November "bomb cyclone" that downed trees and left behind lots of debris. As time permits we may also do some light trail maintenance. It should be a fun morning, full of opportunities for immediate gratification.

What to Bring

Wear sturdy clothes and shoes (dress for the weather!). We can supply work gloves and all of the tools.

Note: There are no bathroom facilities in the park.

Where to Meet

Meet in the gravel parking lot at the west corner of the intersection of NW 145th street and 3rd avenue in Seattle.
If you arrive much after 9 am, just head down the trail and you will meet up with us.
