We will do some cultivation work to clear any remaining ivy and then plant native plants in a forest restoration project area.

What to Bring

Wear sturdy clothes and shoes you don't mind getting very dirty. If you have personal gloves, those are a great idea but I have gloves of various adult sizes. I do not have children's gloves. You should also bring a water bottle as this is an urban forest location with no public facilities onsite. There are bathrooms a short walk away.

Where to Meet

Please see the event map for exact location. From Yesler Way and 32nd Ave S, head south on 32nd Ave S. Turn left at S Washington Street. Head east one block to where the street curves to the right. Look to the left and you'll see the project area with a mound of wood chips and many blue/white flags along the ground.
