Lake Washington Boulevard - Community Land Care at …05/13/2025

Activities
Join us for a wonderful opportunity to connect with your fellow community members and wildlife-lovers. At this event we will be showing our love for Lakewood Sanctuary by spreading mulch, building soil health and in turn helping all that lives in the Sanctuary thrive. You may even see beaver, eagles, or turtles while there! Everyone regardless of age is welcome. Keep in mind the terrain is uneven, and the sanctuary is somewhat brushy in the areas we will be working in.
All ages OK
2 out of 30 participants registered.
What to Bring
Bring your awesome self! And your friends/family! Also, please bring a water bottle, closed-toed footwear, and appropriate clothing for the weather (rain or shine). Shorts and sneakers are not recommended.
We will provide all tools and gloves for the mulching, as well as snacks and water.
Where to Meet
See attached map. Meet at the grassy open area next to the south end of Lakewood Sanctuary (just north of the marina entrance). Look for “event” signs to guide you over there.
Where to Park
See attached map. Parking is available to all in the Adam Street Boat Ramp parking lot just north of Lakewood Sanctuary. Address is 4200 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118.
