Do you like making new friends, helping salmon and getting a little muddy? Well then please join us for a fun morning of planting along Pipers Creek at Carkeek Park! We will be re-planting areas where beavers have been very active in the creek the last two years. The beavers have diversified the habitat within much of the creek, and in harmony with their efforts, we will be planting a diversity of plants to fill in gaps and further enhance the ecosystem there.

What to Bring

You may get a bit wet and/or muddy, so wear appropriate clothes for that. Bring closed-toe shoes, waterproof boots recommended. Also, bring a water bottle. Water will be provided. Gloves and tools will also be provided.

Where to Meet

Meet at the lower meadow. See attached map. We will walk to the areas to be planted from there.
