Westcrest Park - Pride with Pollinators06/14/2025

Activities
Join us for our annual Pride With Pollinators restoration party! We'll be celebrating Pride month by tending to our pollinator garden (and our pollinators), allowing this space to stay colorful and diverse, just like us! We'll be removing non-native blackberry shrubs and applying mulch to bare ground to make way for new native plantings in the fall, as well as watering last year's plantings. We hope to see you there!
All ages OK
10 out of 40 participants registered.
What to Bring
Please bring with you what you will need to be comfortable whilst spending a few hours working outside. Dress in clothed layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, or any other accessories to protect yourself from the elements.
Remember that blackberry thorns are sharp and can snag clothing, and that the terrain may be uneven and/or wet.
We will be providing gloves and tools for all to use, as well as snacks, hot drinks, and water.
