Little Brook Natural Area - Blackberry Be Gone Workparty09/13/2025

Activities

For our first fall work party at Little Brook Natural Area, we will focus on removal of the blackberry that returned and thrived in the summer sun around our native plantings. Most areas for this weeding venture are level, but we recommend not bringing children younger than 5 years because you will be working under and around native plants. Mulching will be done as time permits. Weeding techniques will be briefly overviewed at start of the work party.
