Herrings House Park (Tulaltwx) - Duwamish Alive! Celebrating the …10/18/2025

Activities

Our Green-Duwamish River's salmon are returning from their life's journey to spawn for the next generation of salmon. Join us in welcoming them along the river while we plant native plants which improve the health of Herring House Park's ecosystem which includes salmon habitat. We will be focusing on Salish culturally significant plantings along with learning about the river, salmon and its ecosystem. Talks, tabling and good work!

All ages OK

1 out of 30 participants registered.

What to Bring

Please wear weather appropriate work type clothing, no open toed shoes, a water bottle, and work/gardening gloves if you have them. Where to Meet

We will meet in the open area at the front of the park, by the tables.

Where to Park

Please park across the street from the park, in the Duwamish Longhouse North parking lot. There will be signs at the entrance. Please do not park next to the Longhouse as this is for visitors to it specifically.
