Activities

Join us for a community volunteer event to help remove invasive blackberries at Mapes Creek. This effort will support the health of the creek ecosystem, improve habitat for native plants and wildlife, and foster community stewardship of our local environment. Volunteers of all ages are welcome!

What to Bring

Clothing: Long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes to protect from thorns.
Sun Protection: Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Enthusiasm: A willingness to get outside and help improve the creek!

Where to Meet

We will gather at the stage by Mapes Creek, located between the parking lot and the stage. Look for event signs and volunteers—this will be our check-in point before starting the blackberry removal!
