Join Dirt Corps in wrapping up our restoration work at Westcrest Park for the year! We'll be learning about planting season in the PNW, the different native plants we use at this site, and the power of mulch! We'll also be planting native shrubs, trees, and groundcovers, and tucking everything in with mulch to keep the soil and plants snug through the winter. We hope to see you there!

What to Bring

Please bring with you what you will need to be comfortable whilst spending a few hours working outside. Dress in clothed layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers. We encourage participants to wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy closed-toed shoes.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, or any other accessories to protect yourself from the elements.
Remember that blackberry thorns are sharp and can snag clothing, and that the terrain may be uneven and/or wet.
We will be providing gloves and tools for all to use, as well as snacks, hot drinks, and water.
