Activities

Shake off that post-thanksgiving slump by helping put some plants in the ground! We will be working to plant a range of lovely native plants in a creekside section of Ravenna park. Most of the planting area has already been cleared and this is the perfect time to get the new plants in before the winter rains.

What to Bring

Close toed shoes, preferably long pants and sleeves, and warm clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Please be prepared for rain, and bring a water bottle and possibly a snack. You are welcome to bring your own work gloves, but we will provide any tools and gloves for those who need them.

Where to Meet

We will meet at the toolbox just north of the Ravenna softball field, next to the picnic bench. We will meet and do intros there, then walk into the site.

Where to Park

There is street parking available next to the softball field, and a small lot just off of NE Ravenna blvd. There are also ample bus options!
