Activities

We will plant shrubs, ferns and wild flowers. Then mulch with a thick layer of woodchips, that will keep the the soil moist and suppress weeds. We can cut back blackberries and other weeds or dig them out.

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, sturdy shoes or boots and bring a water bottle. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended. We'll have tools and gloves, if needed.

Where to Meet

We will meet on 25th Ave. S at the corner of Hanford street. This is at the top of the Hanford steps, next to a big Douglas fir tree.

Where to Park

Park along 25th Ave S, south of Hanford street. Do not leave valuables in the car. The light rail station Mount Baker is a short walk away.
