What to Bring

Dress for the day's weather and wear long pants, long sleeved top, and closed toe shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Wear layers if it is chilly and if it is rainy bring rain gear. Bring a full water bottle and snack.

Where to Meet

Meet uphiull about 200 feet west of the Promontory Point Education Pavilion. To reach it enter the park from Sand Point Way NE on NE 65th St. and go east about a half mile. Turn right on the Boat Launch loop road about 100’ west of the stop sign. The Education Pavilion is about 200’ south of NE 65th St and about 70’ west of the Boat Launch Loop road. A large parking lot is nearby.

Where to Park

Park in the large parking lot E1 near the Education Pavilion. Parallel parking on the west side is best and avoiding spots designated for boat trailers is recommended. Alternatively, there is a large lot on the north side of NE 65th St midway between the park entrance and Lake Shore Drive NE.
