Help steward one of the best forested sections of Magnuson Park. Work will include removing invasive plants such as Himalayan Blackberry, ivy, and bindweed and other work such as trimming aooing traios or removing debrisl. There will also be a chance to learn a bit about native plants while working. Advance approval of leader is required for youth groups or children below high school age.

What to Bring

Dress for the day's weather and wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Wear layers if it is chilly and if it is rainy bring rain gear. Bring a full water bottle and snack.

Where to Meet

Meet by the west side of Sports Field Drive NE about 500 feet north of NE 65th St. at the trail junction near a cross walk and baseball backstops. (The trail connects a point on NE 65th St about 100’ east of 62nd Avenue NE to the meeting place.)

Park in lot W6 which is just south of NE 74th St and about a quarter mjile east of Sandpoint Way N?E. Or park in lot E5 on the North side of NE 65th Street and about 3/8 mile east of Sand Point Way NE./
