Discovery Park - Combatting Nihilism03/21/2026
Activities
Afraid for the future of the environment? Let’s do something to help fight the looming extinction crisis. By removing invasive exotic plants and planting natives, we will be improving the habitat for a more biodiverse Discovery Park. We’ll be removing noxious blackberry to make way for new native plants.
All ages OK

What to Bring
WATER and work gloves (I'll have some loaners if you need to borrow). Please wear long pants and sturdy boots. Dress for the weather. We will have loppers, wheelbarrows, tillers and heavy-duty shovels to accomplish our task. We'll take a water break halfway through the event.
