GSP is partnering with Queer the Land (queertheland.org) to support the ongoing stewardship of this oak understory garden as a space to build community and relationships with first food plants of the Coast Salish region.

Please join Queer the Land and friends at Martha Washington Park's oak understory garden for a family-friendly spring open house to celebrate the camas bloom and Mother (Earth) Day!

- informational tours of the garden
- free refreshments made with camas
- flower art activities
- seed sharing

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, including sunscreen and sturdy shoes. Bringing seeds to share is encouraged but not required! There's some seating on-site, but feel free to bring a camp chair or picnic blanket!

Where to Park

There is free parking along the sides of the park (on S Warsaw St or 57th Ave S). For transit, there's a nearby #50 bus stop.
