Kubota Gardens Natural Area - 🌲 Tree Tuesdays04/28/2026

Activities

HANDS ON 👐 WE LEARN ABOUT TREES AND URBAN FOREST 🌳🌲🌳🌲

We learn how to care for them and tend the plants that love to climb them! Sometimes too much 😅

Depending on the season, we also practice tree planting, pruning, harvesting, and soil tending.

This a land and culture tending practice. An ongoing series to learn the process and be in relationship. Guided by indigenous and Social Forestry principals.

Trillium offers this justice-oriented container as an opportunity to build connections, learn, practice, heal, create, and weave resilient communities anchored in land and water.

Learning the skills of forest and watershed stewardship and restoration.

Learning how to nurture a reciprocal relationship with land.

Weaving a resilient community.

Cultivating a sense of place.

Learning about the ecology of this region and how to connect with and recognize flora and fauna.

Taking meaningful action towards climate, land, and social justice.
