Woodland Park - Blackberry Pulling!05/09/2026

Activities

Earlier this spring Seattle Parks and Recreation used a machine to clear all the vegetation in two large blackberry fields near the dog park. Several months later the blackberries are beginning to regrow from the roots, making it easier to spot them and dig them out.

We will work together digging the roots out of the ground and stacking them on compost piles.
