Activities

We will be weeding and mulching around trees and new plantings, which are engulfed in bindweed, blackberries and ivy. We may also water some new plantings on an exposed and sunny patch.

What to Bring

Dress for the day's weather and wear long pants, long sleeved top, and closed toe shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Wear layers if it is chilly and if it is rainy bring rain gear. Bring a full water bottle and snack. We'll have tools and gloves if needed.

Where to Meet

We will meet on top of the Hanford steps, next to a big Douglas fir tree. 25th Avenue South takes a bend there.

Where to Park

Parking is best along 25th Avenue South. Please leave no valuables in your car. The light rail station Mt Baker is a short walk away.
