Seward Park - Seattle Forest Week at …11/11/2026

Activities

Seattle Forest Week is November 7th - 15th! This is the time of year that we get together with our neighbors to kick off planting season. All community members are welcome and no experience is necessary. These events are family friendly and open to all ages.

Restoration is a long game, and this day is about seeing why it's worth it. ECOSS is joining forces with Trans-WA, Seward Park Audubon Center, and Mountain to Sound Greenway Trust for a morning of coordinated habitat restoration, each organization contributing hands and expertise toward a shared goal. Then we'll break bread together over lunch (lunch provided!) before heading out on a group birding walk, closing the day by witnessing the very habitat our morning's work is building toward. Plant it, and they will come.

Lunch will be provided.
