Duwamish Head Greenbelt - Duwamish Head Greenspace / …06/07/2026

Activities

We'll be hosting an ivy pulling event for the West Seattle High School Impact Club (Rotary), and entering the greenspace off of Admiral Way. There will be an A-frame sign set up on along the sidewalk about 1/3 of the way down the hill where we'll enter the woods. We'll be amplifying the efforts of forest stewards and many groups who have been helping clear the area of invasives for many years. Every bit helps, and you'll get to see all the work that's been done on our walk in.

All ages OK

0 out of 20 participants registered.

What to Bring

Wear good walking shoes as we'll be traversing slopes to get down to our work area and it may be wet from several days of rain. It may likewise be raining on Sunday! Long pants and long sleeved shirts may also prove helpful as there will be nettles in the woods, though the area we'll be working should mostly be English ivy which we'll be removing from the ground.

Where to Meet

We'll meet along Admiral Way where the A-frame sign will be set up, about 1/3 of the way down the hill from the viewpoint.

Where to Park

There's parking for 4-5 cars, carpool if you can. Just pull in behind the white van on the east side of Admiral Way. Be careful not to park in the bike lane.
