Learn about the native pollinator plants and insects of Discovery Park while weeding out invasive plants and watering new plants.

What to Bring

Water or electrolyte drink and snacks, sunblock, sun hat, rugged pants, socks, closed-toed durable work shoes or boots. We will provide tools and gloves, but you are welcome to bring your favorite weeding tool and gloves if you like.

Where to Meet

The entrance to the Capehart Forest, at the intersection of Discovery Park Boulevard and Texas Way Extension. You will see a large yellow informative sign about the history of Capehart as well as several logs and stumps.

Where to Park

You may park at the North, South or Visitor center parking lots. Unfortunately, we cannot provide parking on site.
