Come join the Partner in Employment (PIE) Summer Restoration Crew in tending to the land at the Kubota Gardens Natural Area!

This is a community-led event, whether you have attended several or this is your first time, we welcome all to learn from one another about urban forest restoration!

Together we'll work towards taking care of the native plants - this may include removal of the very abundant ivy and blackberry and/or mulching around previous plantings, or some weeding :)

Water bottle
Close toed shoes
Small snack
Weather dependent clothing - long sleeves recommended (layers/waterproof clothes for rain OR light, airy clothes for the sun)

Gloves and tools will be provided!

Where to Meet

Please meet near the main parking lot of Kubota Gardens.

We'll have signage/volunteers helping to direct folks to the restoration area where we'll get tools and have a welcome for the day.
