Longfellow Creek GS: Central - Longfellow Creek Forest Restoration …08/28/2026
Activities
Following the first year of restoration and planting events in the Willow St reach of Longfellow Creek, our community food forest is starting to come alive and take shape! For this event we’ll be removing the invasive species that have returned (thankfully not too much) and providing additional mulch to the new young plants that we planted last year. Come see how the green space is evolving and learn about the variety of species that we planted. Be part of local change and walk away with pride knowing your efforts support ecology, community, and good health.
All ages OK

What to Bring
Long sleeve shirt and pants highly recommended (think blackberries)
