Beaver Pond Natural Area on TC - Back to Beaver Pond …09/03/2026

Activities

While the kids go back to school, let's get back to nature! We will be removing invasives and freeing up some trees on a less well-known path near the creek. Let the trees breathe easier AND make it easier for our neighbors to enjoy them. Whether it's ivy, blackberry, or bindweed, come find your favorite invasive to remove.

All ages OK

What to Bring

Gloves and hand pruners if you have them. Any other special tools you like to use for blackberry removal. I can provide what we need if you don't have it. Please dress in layers and consider the weather, sturdy shoes or boots, long pants & long-sleeved shirts will protect you from plant scratches. Bring raingear for rainy weather & sunscreen for sun. Also, bring a filled water bottle and snack if you like.

Where to Meet

Let's meet at the end of NE 106th off of 8th Ave NE.

Where to Park

There is some street parking along 8th Avenue, 106th, or 105th. Don't park in the lot for the apartments (unless you live there). We will also be just a few blocks away from the Northgate light rail station (about a 10 minute walk).
