Help take care of the urban forest along this neighborhood trail! We'll remove ivy and blackberry plants, and start clearing space for fall planting. Connect with fellow volunteers and help improve Seattle green spaces!

What to Bring

Dress for work and weather: long pants, long-sleeved shirts, closed-toed shoes or boots, and a rain jacket. Please bring a water bottle and any snacks you might need.

Where to Meet

The forest is in South Beacon Hill/Rainier Beach. Use 8631 39th Ave S as an approximate address for the upper trail entrance, where we'll meet. If you arrive late, follow the trail and look for us in the woods. If arriving by light rail, use address 4005 S Trenton St, which will take you to the lower trail entrance, then take the trail uphill.

Where to Park

Parking is available along 39th Ave S, and the forest is easy to access from the Rainier Beach light rail stop or by bus.
