Welcome! To Ravenna Park! We will be working around the basketball court and eventually down the access road to the SE. We will be removing blackberry, ivy and some Golden Chain trees that are crowding out the area, creating mulch piles, and preparing the site for planting next year!

What to Bring

Always bring sturdy shoes or boots, clothes you don't mind getting dirty or a little torn from thorns, and a water bottle. Other than that, dress for the weather and long sleeves and pants are recommended due to the aforementioned thorns. We will provide tools and gloves, but if you have your own you're welcome to bring them.

Where to Meet

We will be meeting near the Ravenna Park Basketball courts. It is just to the East of the Cowen Park Bridge on the south side of the park.

Where to Park

There is no dedicated parking lot nearby. There is parking available on most of the surrounding streets, just be respectful of the community and not blocking driveways or otherwise parking somewhere risking getting towed. For those coming from farther I would point out the Roosevelt Light Rail station is only about 5 blocks away.
