Seward Park - Seattle Forest Week at …11/14/2026
Activities
Seattle Forest Week is November 7th - 15th! This is the time of year that we get together with our neighbors to kick off planting season. All community members are welcome and no experience is necessary. These events are family friendly and open to all ages.
We're closing out Seattle Forest Week the way it should end: looking forward. This planting establishes the dry mesic forest that will define this landscape for decades, trees that today's volunteers likely won't see reach maturity, but are planting anyway. Join us for a hands-on, community-powered finale to a week of restoration, and help put down roots for a forest none of us will fully see, but all of us will shape.
Funding for this project provided by the USDA Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program in partnership with State of Washington Department of Natural Resources, Urban and Community Forestry Program.
