Activities

Come get to know and help steward Longfellow Creek in Dragonfly Park! There's no set activity, but work will likely involve invasive removal or native planting. We can tailor it to the interests and comfort level of participants. Salmon also return to Longfellow Creek this time of year, so we will take a break at some point to see who's in the creek!

What to Bring

Sturdy, closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you're okay getting muddy.
Rain gear.
Snacks & Water and/or a thermos of something warm.
You may want to bring a change of clothes for afterwards if there's rain in the forecast.

Gloves and tools will be provided. If you have your own gloves, handsnips, or hori-hori you prefer working with, you are welcome to bring.

Stairs on SW Nevada St, between 26th Ave SW and 28th Ave SW

Where to Park

Parking on 28th Ave SW is probably best, but parking is limited, so please try and carpool if coming with friends.
Dragonfly park is also a 5 min walk from the 50 bus and 5-10 walk from the H line.
