Discovery Park - Junes Cathedral Blackberry Management10/13/2026
Activities
Today we'll start our work on a new area, a towering stand of invasive Himalayan blackberry that's encroaching on the south meadow. We'll be using loppers to cut the canes and shovels to dig out the roots, and we'll build a large hedgerow that will provide shelter and forage for insects, songbirds and our beloved northern alligator lizard.
Adults only
0 out of 12 participants registered.
What to Bring
- Boots or close-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves
- Gloves if you have a favorite pair, otherwise I have some loaners
