Cheasty GS: Cheasty Blvd - 3rd Saturday WorkParty @ …10/18/2026

Activities

We’re kicking off our 3rd Saturday work parties again, and volunteers are invited to help restore and care for our trails and natural areas. We’ll be maintaining pedestrian trails, removing invasive blackberries, applying mulch around trees and newly cleared sections, and preparing sites for winter planting. Along the way, we’ll check on how much our trees have grown over the past decade and see which of last year’s plantings made it through the summer drought. Join us to make a visible impact, learn restoration skills, and support the long-term health of this community space

All ages OK

0 out of 20 participants registered.

What to Bring

Bring thick gloves, boots, a water bottle, and a snack. We will provide tools, and if you don’t have gloves, we have some available. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or torn by blackberry thorns.

Where to Meet

We meet at View Point Park in the Rainier Vista Neighborhood. Look for the Cheasty Tent.
