Warren G. Magnuson Park - MLK Day at Magnuson …01/16/2023

Activities

Work with a team of UW restoration ecology students to restore what had been a denuded naval air station to healthy habitat which will increase human well being.and ecosystem services. (We'll be working where some of the runways shown in the listing photo once were).

Work will include removing invasive plants like blackberry and ivy and small diameter invasive trees.

This event is also an opportunity for participants to enjoy nature and learn a bit about native plants while doing satisfying work.
