Come take a deep dive into the types and benefits of mulch and how it pertains to soil health! We will have the opportunity for people to get hands on with both mulch and compost, activities for kids, and a bird walk led by Seward Park Audubon, as options for people to choose from.

What to Bring

Please bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and anything else that will make you comfortable in the heat. We will have water, snacks, and lunch provided for participants, as well as a small shelter for shade. We will also provide any necessary tools and gloves, but encourage folks to bring what makes them comfortable.

Where to Meet

Please meet at Shelter 5 in Seward Park. We will have signs from the entrance to the park that will guide you up to the site.
