Join us as we work to restore our urban forests and learn about the amazing and diverse wildlife at the Park. We will be removing invasive species like ivy and blackberry and making room for our hardworking native plants and trees. AND as a special treat, the awesome naturalist, Ed Dominguez will share his knowledge of birds and urban wildlife. We promise good nature vibes and high fives!

What to Bring

Dress in NW layers to stay warm/cool and dry. We suggest long sleeves and pants year-round to protect from scratches. Wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots. Please bring your personal water bottle to keep hydrated, garden/work gloves if you have them. We will have lots extra, clean gloves, tools to borrow and light snacks to help keep your energy up!

Where to Meet

Please arrive 5-10 mins early to sign-in and we can begin promptly at 10 am. We will meet near the map kiosk in the NORTH parking lot on Fauntleroy Way SW (and SW Rose St). If you are running late, call Lisa at 248.506.7155.

Where to Park

NORTH parking lot or street parking on Fauntleroy SW. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The Rapid Ride C bus stops at SW Rose St by the parking lot. Please carpool if you can!
